Dr. Bloom has been a board-certified family physician in Orange County, California, for over 25 years. He is known for his caring attitude and personable character which fosters a trusted doctor-patient relationship.
After graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Bloom received his Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He then completed his hospital internship/residency for specialty training at U.C. Irvine Medical Center.
He has become board certified in Family Medicine as well as in Sports Medicine and has served as team doctor for Orange Coast College, Ocean View High School, and the Orange County Lawmen.
In the past, Dr. Bloom was Chief of Staff at Huntington Beach Hospital and still is a member of its Board of Trustees. And he was elected as the Chairman of the Board for Huntington Beach Hospital from 2004-2005.
He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UC Irvine. Also, he recently served for 6 years as a Commissioner for the City of Huntington Beach in the Community Services Department. During his final year, he was elected Chair of the Community Services Commission.
Finally, for the past 15 years, Dr. Bloom has been a Reserve Police Officer with the Huntington Beach Police Department.
