How can I get a 90-day supply?

The pharmacy needs to send the office an electronic request. If the insurance company allows it, and the provider is also ready, your request will be processed.

Why did I get “generic” medication?

Check with your prescription benefits.

I need a new prescription. What do I do?

Use PortalConnect to message us, most new prescriptions may require an office visit. Plan accordingly.

My medicines are finished, and I can’t come to refill it. What do I do?

Depending on the Rx being requested the provider may allow a 15 or 30 day supply as a courtesy. You must be available to come in BEFORE running out.

What do I do if my prescription requires prior authorization?

Have your pharmacy faxed the office the request for a Prior Auth. Please allow up to 15 days for the insurance to reply. Connect with your provider before your medication runs out to request a refill. Let the physicians review your medical record before refilling your medicines. New medication and controlled substances will require a visit.

I need my referral to be processed as an urgent request. What do I do?

Please understand this the provider is who will justify if the referral needs to be submitted as urgent.

I need my prescription to be filled urgently. What do I do?

Once the request is made by the pharmacy, please allow 24 hours for the request to process. Always plan accordingly so you don’t run out of medications.
